Later today the London Gay Pride Parade will leave Baker Street at 13:00. It will go down Oxford Street and Regent Street before ending up in Piccadilly and Trafalgar Square.There will be around 40 floats together with marching groups, dancing groups, bands and thousands of other participants. With up to 500,000 people expected, Gay Pride 2009 is going to be huge. :)
From about 15:00 following the Pride Parade there will be entertainment, speakers, community stalls and music in Trafalgar Square on the Main Stage with some top quality acts. The line up has not yet been confirmed but it should be fabulous and every bit as good as last year, which had Sir Ian McKellan starting the proceedings.
