There's a lotta dish being slung right now regarding Gale Harold's health, as well as his status on Desperate Housewives. We just ran quotes from D.H. sources who doubt Gale's capability to return to filming the hit soap, but now we've discovered there's at least a glimmer of hope:
He's looped some scenes recently.
So that's terrific news—he was able to physically get himself to the set, even though it wasn't easy:
"He's still in a tremendous amount of pain," revealed an insider who's hung with the hunk recently. "He doesn't even remember a lot of what happened to him, and his shoulder's really hurting him right now, but I think he will be back next season, in some form."
As we stated before, Desperate sources unofficially made it clear they'll be happy to have Gale back in any form. Us too!

Unhappy Gale Harold Desperate Housewives news. Here's the latest scoop from Wisteria Lane involving motorcycle accident victim Harold, who's recovery may not be as speedy as people think.
How so? Well...
"He's really very majorly injured," remarked a source close to both Harold and the Desperate Housewives set. "I don't believe he'll be coming back."
When we contacted Desperate Housewives central, there was no comment regarding the too sad news. However, other sources close to the production (whom creator Marc Cherry just surprised the merde outta by announcing—and which we broke—that he wants to stay around for seasons eight and nine), told us, "We have an open door for Gale" to return.
Harold's rep insisted there's nothing to be concerned with regarding her client: "He is fine. Your source is wrong," the publicist stated. When asked to elaborate on exactly what Harold's condition is and whether or not the supernice stud is headed back to Wisteria Lane, she refused comment.
I hear that door ain't gonna be swingin' for some time. Heal fast, Gale, we miss ya!

...Finally, to the (what seems like) hundreds of you who have written in with questions or messages of support for Gale please know that he continues to thrive and heal. The rapidity and amazing degree of his recovery has been truly miraculous and I have no doubt that your good wishes and energy sent his way have aided in this. So thank YOU ALL. I wish you the very best of Holiday cheer.
Peace!

Russell T. Davies receives OBE
The writer, who revived the cult BBC show Doctor Who in 2005, collected his award for services to drama from the Prince of Wales today.
Davies revealed in October that the Prince had declined an offer to cameo in Doctor Who, saying: "He turned us down, the miserable swine."
The 45-year-old Welshman, who will step down as Who's lead writer and executive producer next year, has also written Queer As Folk, Casanova and The Second Coming.

Terrific news on Gale from his manager Larry. Gale’s progress is excellent. He would like to start driving again, although that is still a ways off, and is now taking lunches and beginning to run lines with friends. We are planning to do his voice over dialogue for 511 in early December. This is all very exciting and very positive. If the healing continues to progress as well over the next month he should be back with us in January.

"What More Do I Need" was directed by Larry Shaw and written by Matt Berry.
Question: "...regarding Desperate Housewives, you recently stated that you find Gale Harold's performance "surprisingly charming." What drives me crazy about his addition to the show is that he is totally wasted. Again, another great actor given very little to do except take off his shirt and beg for attention. It's also more than a bit odd watching the former "Brian Kinney" being the whipping boy for Teri Hatcher."
Answer from Matt: "...As for Gale Harold: I like the change of pace in making him so sympathetic and vulnerable. He's a supporting player in this ensemble and that's as it should be."

Hi to everyone!!Nothing new as far as his health is concerned, except that he is home, but some good news about his future in DH. Apparently, as long as he continues to improve and can get fit enough to go back to work in a reasonable amount of time, it sounds as though his part as Jackson in DH is secure.
Hope that this finds all of you well and happy!
I just want to let you know that now that Gale is back home, we may not be getting many (or any for that matter) updates.
As far as I know, Jackson is still going to be a character on DH, however Gale needs to heal before he can return to work.
They take a break during the Holiday Season and then return until sometime in May before taking their summer hiatus.
So, right now, no news is good news and anything you might read about Gale leaving the show is just rumor now (as my dad has heard nothing different, and he would be one of the first to know about any character changes!!)
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET). Gaby is over the moon when Carlos' client makes them an offer they can't refuse, but a startling discovery leaves her second guessing; Lynette grows suspicious that Tom is cheating on her; and after breaking up with Jackson, Susan tries to surprise him, only to find the surprise is on her. Meanwhile, the bond between Bree and Katherine grows, and Mrs. McCluskey enlists the help of her sister to dig up dirt on Dave.Looking forward to seeing this! I hope you all enjoy it.
Guest stars include Kathryn Joosten as Mrs. McCluskey, Gale Harold as Jackson, Gail O'Grady as Anne Schilling, Frances Conroy as Virginia Hildebrand and Lily Tomlin as Roberta.
"There's Always a Woman" was directed by Matthew Diamond and written by John Paul Bullock III.
I almost forgot! Happy Birthday, Randy!
Is he still in Paris, I wonder?
Well, I'm sure he's had a fabulous day wherever he is!
Gale is continuing to progress but the anticipated time of healing may take a bit longer than initially hoped for. He will be released from the hospital on Friday and will have friends and family staying with him for at least a month to aid in his rehabilitation. His medical team, friends and family will work on the cognitive therapy to help rebuild his memory. He's walking well, and healing nicely and anxious to return to his home. His shoulder will take 6-8 weeks to return to full function. His parents will remain through this week. The term "cognitive therapy" is really worrying to me. This is a little about "cognitive" in case anyone isn't sure what it entails:
...this description tends to apply to processes such as memory, association, concept formation, language, attention, perception, action, problem solving and mental imagery. The news that it's going to take longer than first expected doesn't really surprise me. Do you remember in those first few days after the accident there was much mention of him being back to normal in "a couple of weeks"! I suppose all of us in our hearts were doubtful that "critical" and "brain swelling" went hand in hand with a healing period of "a couple of weeks"! No such luck because this is reality folks.
So, it looks like, with a little rest and some luck, it will heal without any further treatment. This is good news! As a hearing problem for anyone is a serious thing, but for an actor I would have thought it could be a huge problem, especially on stage. Let's hope Gale's injuries all heal fully... and quickly!A ruptured eardrum is a tear or a hole in your eardrum (tympanic membrane), the thin membrane that separates your ear canal from your middle ear. This membrane vibrates when sound waves strike it, starting the process of converting sound waves into nerve impulses that travel to your brain. A ruptured eardrum (also called a perforated eardrum)interrupts the hearing process and may impair your hearing.
The eardrum also acts as a barrier to keep outside material, such as bacteria, from entering your middle ear. When you have a ruptured eardrum, bacteria can more easily reach your middle ear and cause infection.
A variety of factors can cause a ruptured eardrum. These include a prior infection, injury and noise. Most ruptured eardrums heal within a few weeks without treatment. If the tear or hole in your eardrum doesn't heal by itself, you may need treatment.
The good news continues. Gale has moved into a rehabilitation room. It is hoped that he will be released on Friday. I learned today that he does have a ruptured ear drum so his hearing is adding to the difficulty at the moment. The NeuroPsychologist believes that there will be a full recovery of all functions. His parents are in town for the week. He still tires quickly. His manager believes it best for visitors to wait until Gale is home. So, not liking the sound of the ruptured ear drum at all, he must have given his head a huge whack when he came off that bloody bike! Being released on Friday sounds very, very good though! Keep getting better, Gale, we're still all thinking of you and praying!
"Mirror, Mirror" - The night is full of surprises on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), as we learn what has transpired on Wisteria Lane in the past five years. Driven by a hidden agenda, Dave convinces Susan to throw Mrs. McCluskey a surprise party for her 70th birthday; Jackson wants to take his relationship with Susan to the next level; Gaby's concerned she might be pregnant; Tom tells Lynette he's sold the pizzeria; a startling reason for the bond between Bree and Katherine is revealed; and an outraged Mrs. McCluskey has the entire neighborhood questioning her sanity.
All very good news today.
Gale has moved into a room, information below.
He is in a great mood, conversational, laughing and playing jokes on his doctors and nurses.
His memory is returning and his friend has described the past 2 days as "leaps".
Still sore in the ribs and shoulder.
He has begun to read emails from those of you who have it (I'm not giving it out :) ).
His parents are visiting this weekend so be aware that he will be busy and most likely tired.
We'll be sending something from the company.
Housewives actor making recovery
Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold, who plays Teri Hatcher's on-screen boyfriend, is out of intensive care following a motorcycle accident.
Harold, who crashed his bike in California, is expected to make a full recovery, according to his spokeswoman.
He suffered a fractured shoulder and brain-swelling in the incident and was initially in a critical condition at Los Angeles' USC Medical Centre.
His character, Jackson, has just been seen for the first time on UK screens.
The actor plays a key role in the eighth episode of the fifth series, leading to a situation involving several residents of the fictional Wisteria Lane.
Harold had been filming scenes throughout the week before the accident happened, and was due back on set.
The programme's makers have said they will decide on how to proceed when the actor's condition is clear, but series creator Marc Cherry said at least one scene would have to be rewritten.
Thank goodness for small miracles: after breaking his shoulder in a vicious motorcycle accident last week, Desperate Housewives eye candy Gale Harold has been released from the intensive care unit at L.A. County - USC Medical Center, reports E! News.
"Gale Harold is out of intensive care and improving daily. A full recovery is expected," said the actor's rep in a statement. "He thanks everyone for their good wishes."
All the women in the Dose.ca offices just breathed a collective sigh of relief - Harold's beautiful body would be a terrible thing to waste.
Soon after Harold's Oct. 14 accident, producers of Housewives assured fans that the 39-year-old actor would not be written out of the show, nor would his hospital stay hinder production.
"It's something they can work around," said inside sources at the ABC dramedy. "Production schedules are changing all the time and they will work it out."
Praise Jebus! Harold's shirtless scenes are what made us start watching again after swearing off the show two years ago. And, come to think of it, they were one of the few reasons we tuned in to Queer as Folk, too. (We swear, his pecs have sexy, hypnotic powers.)
Gale Harold is improving after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle accident.
Officials at L.A. County USC Medical Center say that the Desperate Housewives star, who was injured on Tuesday, is under observation in the intensive care unit. He had swelling on the brain and a fractured shoulder but is expected to recover.
Officials added that he will be transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center when a bed becomes available.
Gale plays the boyfriend
of Teri Hatcher’s character on the ABC show. On Wednesday Housewives executive producer Marc Cherry said his writers are reworking one scene to cover for Gale while he recovers.
“We’re hearing he’s going to be fine, but he’s going to be recovering for a couple of weeks,” Marc told the press.
From Ted Casablanca:Yes, heal very, very fast, Gale!
Good News 'Bout Gale
Wed., Oct. 15, 2008 3:52 PM PDT by TED CASABLANCA
What with some tabloids saying pro pretty boy and Desperate Housewives star Gale Harold is at death’s door, we got very, very concerned. As Gale is a very nice chap on top of being one of my faves, remember, in Queer As Folk.
Checked in with a super good bud to Gale, and got the skinny: “He's going to be OK,” the amigo insisted about Harold, who spilled on his motorcycle in Hell-Ay. “They're keeping him in the ICU because of the head injury, but he's expected to make a full recovery,” assured the Harold bud.
Good to know that what G.H.’s publicist is saying is actually accurate, as you know how this column feels about statements from such ilk. We prefer the crowd that actually hangs with these people. Don’t you?
Heal fast, Gale!
And this article from WGNtv in Chicago says that the California Highway Patrol has no information about the accident. So unless it was reported to the LAPD, no police were called apparently. Here's the article:Scary news: Hospital sources confirm that actor Gale Harold is in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at County-USC Medical Center, reportedly in "stable condition."
According to TMZ, Harold was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident. I'm told we can expect an official statement from his reps around noon Pacific time.
Gale Harold plays Jackson, Susan Mayer's (Teri Hatcher) new man, this season on Desperate Housewives. He also has a huge cult following among TV fans from his days on Showtime's Queer as Folk.

'Desperate Housewives' actor Gale Harold injured in motorcycle accident
By DERRIK J. LANG
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Gale Harold was in critical condition Wednesday after the "Desperate Housewives" actor crashed his motorcycle the day before, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Harold was awaiting further tests at USC Medical Center, spokeswoman Adelaida De La Cerda said. She gave no further details on his injuries.
Publicist Nancy Seltzer said Wednesday that Harold fractured his shoulder, and "Housewives" creator and executive producer Marc Cherry said he apparently has swelling on the brain but is expected to recover.
"We're hearing he's going to be fine, but he's going to be recovering for a couple of weeks," Cherry said.
Selzer said no one else was injured, but did not provide further details on the Tuesday wreck, which was first reported by TMZ. The California Highway Patrol said it had no information about the accident.
Harold plays Jackson, the boyfriend of Teri Hatcher's character Susan Mayer on the ABC show. The character plays a pivotal role in the fifth season's eighth episode, a November sweeps instalment which finds several Wisteria Lane residents trapped inside a nightclub fire.
Cherry said Harold had been filming scenes all week for the episode and had been scheduled to be on set Tuesday. He said they would await the actor's prognosis before deciding how to proceed, but that at least some changes would have to be made.
"We know we're going to rewrite one scene," he said.

"Desperate Housewives" in Critical ConditionPlease God, let him get well soon!
Posted Oct 15th 2008 2:28PM by TMZ Staff
We've learned Gale Harold, the actor who plays Teri Hatcher's boyfriend on "Desperate Housewives," was seriously injured yesterday in a motorcycle accident. And, contrary to what Harold's rep says, a hospital spokesperson just told us the actor is in "critical condition." He's being treated at the L.A. County - USC Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit. We're told his shoulder was screwed up. Harold's rep just issued a statement saying his shoulder was fractured and he's in "stable condition," despite what the hospital rep said. And the slightly ominous words from his rep -- "Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery."
"D.H." creator Marc Cherry says Harold has swelling of the brain but is expected to recover.
BTW, Harold also starred in "Queer as Folk."
The Internal Clitoris— What a Woman's Cock Really Looks Like
If you told a man that his "penis" was nothing more than the head of his cock— his "glans"— he would laugh in your face.
If he pitied you, he might tell you that there was an important aspect to the penis called the shaft, also the frenulum, and perhaps a foreskin. His scrotum and balls are part of the essential package as well.
Women's anatomy education, on the other hand, has been a giant exercise in vacancy. Until recent times, we've been schooled that the clitoris— the female analog to the penis— is nothing more than the small glans one can see on the outside of the vulva.
Start laughing.
Women have a big, big, clitoral body— but it's nearly all on the inside, instead of the outdoor plumbing that's viewed so easily on men.
The reason you hear so much about the "g-spot," and controversies over whether women are excited by internal anal or vaginal pressure, is because those areas are all means to massage, and stimulate, the internal clitoral body. The g-spot isn't some extra accessory; it's just one of many inches on the clitoral map.
Remember: the whole clit, and nothing but.
Of course, the female clitoral glansis the super-sensitive part, just like a man's. But in the same way that men like to have their entire penises taken into account when they're aroused, women are favored by attention to their entire clitorises.
When I present this information in public, I am hampered by my lack of rendering skills. Now, finally, I have the genius of Betty "Quick Draw" Dodson to show you what's it's all about.
The next time someone asks you, "Where's the clitoris? What does it look like? How do you know where to find it?" — you simply come over here, and press play.
