Yesterday I gave money to IFAW to help them rescue animals left homeless and starving in the wake of Katrina. Today I gave money to a vet to end the life of Cupidog because her kidneys had finally failed.
I'm especially glad now for doing the one, because somehow it has made it easier to bear the other.
